Todd Howard is an American video game designer and producer. He is best known as the longtime creative lead at Bethesda Game Studios for The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield.

Early life and education

Todd Howard was born in 1970 in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania. He later graduated from the College of William & Mary.

Career at Bethesda

Howard joined Bethesda in 1994 and rose to become a senior creative leader. He has directed or produced major entries in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, and later served as the lead on Starfield (2023).

Recognition and other work
